Ground’81 is the framework we use to build portals, management systems, and other solutions that are fast to develop, easy to maintain, and ready to scale. It’s the platform on which the entire Netboard Suite (ERP, CRM, WMS) is obviously built.

Launched in early 2008, rapidly absorbing technologies and features, it quickly evolved until the end of 2009 when version 3.0 was released, representing a true milestone and remaining our development reference until 2022.

Thirteen years in IT is a geological era, but Ground has aged well and constant updates have always allowed it to be highly appreciated by its users. This time has allowed us to work on the new release, giving birth to new ideas and features without pressure.

In 2022, the new version 5.0 arrived, maintaining the platform’s strengths but with a completely redesigned interface engine capable of adapting to new devices and market needs, and above all opening up to the possibility of being totally customizable.

With version 5, the concept of “Stations” was also born: program sub-interfaces optimized for functional niches (for example, PDAs for warehouses or machine-side workstations in plants).

• Developer-friendly: the fundamental characteristic is its simplicity of development and interaction. Since the first version, we have worked to allow working both in deploy and in “live mode,” drastically reducing times and costs for modifications and bug fixing even on the most complex projects.
• Ready for “integration”: born to operate in the cloud when few believed in it, today it finds in interaction with other systems one of its strengths.
